Industries of Kheda district is beneficial to the skilled workforce
received from your institute. This workforce has been helpful in
qualitative production and thus played an important role directly or
indirectly in the development of this district. Hence we,

I.T.I. Palana and congratulate you and your people.
Kheda district is
well known for its agricultural development in the state. Farmers are
prosperous and striving for the development in this district. Taking a
note of this agricultural development, ITI, Palana is being upgraded
as Center of Excellence in Production & Manufacturing sector.

the youth from rural background into competitive multi skilled
work force so as to reach new horizon of employment; this
institute has planned to be developed as a center with diversity
by introducing multi skilling courses in Production & Manufacturing sector. |

In Kheda
district labour force participation rate stands 91.16 % for
Males and 19.90 % for Females. Same way participation of
female is lower in training due to lack of awareness towards
industrial training. |

courses like Sewing Machine Operator, Fashion Technology,
Tourist Guide, and Secretarial Practice will be started in the
span of five years for female candidates and this way
awareness in participation in industrial training will be
increased.

In
association with the DRDA, DIC, CED, Social Welfare Department
various short term courses like Drip Irrigation, Motor
Driving, Data Entry Operator, Internet, Two Wheeler Repairing
for BPL , SC/ST candidates, unorganized sectors etc. will be
conducted at community level.

In
this locality most of the population is involved in the farming
so the training in the Production & Manufacturing trades should be introduced
in the institute.same way the awareness regarding the industrial
training among the female is also important aspect in this area.
Giving importance to these things we are going to develop some
courses like Production & Manufacturing, micro irrigation
technicians, horticultural assistant and gardener.Simillarily
some special courses for female like sewing machine
operater,Fashion designing,Embroydary,Hair and skin care and
sacraterial practice are to be introduced. |
