This workforce has been helpful in qualitative production and thus played an important role directly or indirectly in the development of this district.                         Kheda district is well known for its agricultural development in the state. Farmers are prosperous and striving for the development in this district. Section 2: Long-term Goal of the Institution

Long-term Goal 

To transform the youth from rural background into competitive multi skilled work force so as to reach new horizon of employment; this institute has planned to be developed as a center with diversity by introducing multi skilling courses in Production & Manufacturing sector.

 (a) Institutional Management

Inadequate fund availability

Institute will utilize fund from the government grant and other sources of revenue generation like job work, testing calibration, servicing and repairing activity in   the I.T.I.

 

(b) Teaching/Training Staff and Technical Staff

Inadequate knowledge of teaching staff

Institute has 76 teaching faculties. It is decided to train the faculties in various subjects. Details of which are as below.

  1. Principles of Teaching
  2. Personality Development and Communication Skill
  3. Computer Literacy
  4. Audio –Visual Aids and Information Technology
  5. Advance Industrial Training

 

  (c) Teaching and Learning Resources

Incompetence of the training staff and lack of the demand driven training.

1.   To provide training to the trainers, training programme will be arranged.

2. To bring the jobseekers and job providers on a common platform, job fairs will be arranged every year.                                                    

(d) Training Facilities

Inadequate training facilities due to which we can’t cope up with requirements of industries.

 

1.Available infrastructure of Industries shall be used to train the trainers and technical staff so as to strengthen public private partnership.

2. Memorandum of understanding will be signed. 

(e)Constraints facing in increasing the number of female students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

In Kheda district labour force participation rate stands 91.16 % for Males and 19.90 % for Females. Same way participation of female is lower in training due to lack of awareness towards industrial training.

  1. Various courses like Sewing Machine Operator, Fashion Technology, Tourist Guide, and Secretarial Practice will be started in the span of five years for female candidates and this way awareness in participation in industrial training will be increased.
  2. In association with the DRDA, DIC, CED, Social Welfare Department various short term courses like Drip Irrigation, Motor Driving, Data Entry Operator, Internet, Two Wheeler Repairing for BPL , SC/ST candidates, unorganized sectors etc. will be conducted at community level.

 (f) Linkages with the Labour Market

Lack of result oriented linkages with the labour market.

[A] Various sectors shall be identified for the enhancement of market, Work shops, Seminars and Employment fairs shall be arranged with the help of industries and dialogues with industries shall also be held at the regular intervals.

[B]To bring the jobseekers and job providers  on a common platform,

Job fairs will be arranged every year.                                                                                                                                          

[C] To introduce new courses that would prepare the youth to    enter  into employment in the immerging sectors

 

Section 3: Short and Medium-term Goals of the Institution

(a) Institutional Management

To make institutional management more effective

 

With the help of this project, management Information System Software will be used for traceability, transparency and efficiency.

Proper procedure and standards for documentation will be adopted.

Various means of revenue generation will be thought off.

(b) Teaching/Training Staff and Technical Staff

To enhance the competence of teaching / training staff up to the level of excellence

The training in various subjects like Trade Knowledge, Computer Literacy, Training Psychology, Audio-Visual Aids, English Writing to the teaching staff will be imparted.

(c) Teaching and Learning Resources

To make effective of available recourses and to develop new recourses.

Advancement in the training will be attained. Various time bound training programmes will be arranged. Procurements of new machinery and equipments will be done. Special efforts will be made for soft skill development. 

 (d) Teaching/Training Staff and Technical Staff

 

Workshops and seminars and number of industrial visits will be arranged thus the staff will become familier with the industrial environment.

(e) Training Facilities

New courses will be identified and their curriculum will be prepared. Advance machinery and equipments generally seen in the industries will be procured.

(f) Increasing the Participation of Female and Disadvantaged Students

 

Special courses for females like Sewing Machine Operator Fashion Technology, Tourist Guide, Secretarial Practice will be introduced.

Special courses like Micro-Irrigation Technician, Horticulture Assistant will be started for weaker and   disadvantaged faction of the society

(h) Overcoming Adverse Environmental Issues in the Institute.

The institute will have infrastructural development. It will get closer support from the industry. Higher employment rate will be achieved.

a.       Various sectors shall be identified for the enhancement of market, Work shops, Seminars and Employment fairs shall be arranged with the help of industries and diologues with industries shall also be held at the regular intervals.

b.       To bring the jobseekers and job providers  on a common platform,

c.   To introduce new courses that would prepare the youth to    enter 

      into employment in the immerging sectors. 

(b) Priorities for Development

(i) What areas of development are most important in your locality?

(ii) What trades do you wish to develop through the project and why?

             In this locality most of the population is involved in the farming so the training in the Production & Manufacturing trades should be introduced in the institute.same way the awareness regarding the industrial training among the female is also important aspect in this area.

            Giving importance to these things we are going to develop some courses like Production & Manufacturing, micro irrigation technicians, horticultural assistant and gardener.Simillarily some special courses for female like sewing machine operater,Fashion designing,Embroydary,Hair and skin care and sacraterial practice are to be introduced.
